What is the partnership?

We've collaborated with Headway to develop a Bare&Bond perfume subscription dedicated to them and their work. Of which, 10% of the ongoing proceeds will go to Headway.

Headway Limited Edition

The Box

Designed by Bokani Tshidzu

Your box won't look like the photo's - it'll be 100x better. We're re-designing our box ready for 1st November to make it feel even more exciting when it is dropped through your letterbox. It will be 100% recyclable and designed by artist, Bokani Tshidzu, winner of the BBC1 Big Painting Challenge. We simply cannot wait to show it to you.

The Perfume

Created by Sarah McCartney

Each box contains three 15ml bottles of perfume, created with love for you to try. The nose behind the perfumes this quarter is the one and only Sarah McCartney from 4160 Tuesdays. A perfume house in West London. At Bare & Bond we like to describe Sarah as the godmother of perfumery. She has certainly had a serious impact in making the perfume industry a better and more equal place for everyone.

The Stories

Curated by Frankee Adams

Storytelling is part of our core identity at Bare & Bond. The collection of mini-stories in your box will tell some of the stories behind the perfume, the art and Headway itself.

The Winter Editions Perfume

Captured By Candlelight

A woodsy gourmand fragrance. Notes of rich fruit, brandy and molasses, surrounded by woods, and illuminated with a light candlewax note.

Red Queen

A spicy incense rose fragrance, with a base of rich deep notes, patchouli and vetivert accompanied by parsnip, blackcurrant and raspberry.

Take Me To The River

A very soft and smooth musk fragrance. Notes of leather, tobacco, cognac and wine, with one red rose at the heart.

We all think ‘it will never happen to me’, but each year around 350,000 people are admitted to hospital with a brain injury. That’s one every 90 seconds.

Headway is the UK-wide charity that works to improve life after brain injury. Whether the result of a road traffic collision, a sporting accident, or a stroke, the effects can be devastating and last a lifetime. Headway help people suffering with brain injury to rebuild their lives, relearn lost skills, most of us take for granted, and regain a degree of independence. Alongside that, they also provide crucial support to families and carers.

What your money will go towards?

What your money will go towards?

Helpline

Our registered nurses and support workers help callers through any aspect of brain injury – medical, emotional or practical, whether they are in crisis, need reassurance or just someone to talk to.

Emergency Fund

We offer Emergency Fund grants to those struggling with the immediate financial burden of brain injury. The grants can cover a range of costs including accommodation, clothing vouchers, or white goods to facilitate independent living.

The Justice Project

The Justice Project aims to increase survivor’s confidence in everyday situations and helps support them in the Criminal Justice System. In 2017 we officially launched our ID Card. The verified photo ID contains the four issues a survivor struggles with most, alerting people that they may need extra help or consideration.

What customers think of Bare & Bond

“I love receiving my Bare & Bond box. The packaging is lovely and it’s so great reading the stories behind the perfumer and the perfume itself. It was such a lovely gift. Every quarter I feel like I find my new scent and can’t wait for the next one! I also love the little gift box inside - it’s meant I’ve been able to share some of the lovely scents with friends.”

Kerry

“The Bare & Bond service has been really lovely, the staff are very friendly and my Bare & Bond box made a prompt delivery straight to the comfort of my home. The packaging for my box was very delightful, and really intrigued me to open the box further. The whole process has a feel of surprise as you just do not know what perfumes you will be receiving! A beautiful scented mystery!”

Rachel

"I have to share most treats with the kids so when I see my Bare & Bond box by the door it feel like a special treat just for me. I love the new smells I am introduced to. It feels like new clothes or three new personalities floor characters for me to be."
